We focus on development of membrane processes from membrane preparation to industrial applications where we collaborate with Danish and international partners to analyze the scale-up possibilities.

Our activities include integration of membrane processes and related technologies, simulation and testing of membrane modules for large-scale applications mainly for new membrane processes such as membrane distillation. 

We have strong experience withing computational fluid dynamics to simulate the hydrodynamics and mass transport. This has been employed in industrial collaborations for the optimization and development of new membrane modules for membrane bioreactors.
